Content analysis of nursing students’ perception of flight nurses

Abstract
|
|
|
Purpose : To help nursing students understand flight nursing by checking the level of awareness of nursing students about flight nurses, and to provide data that is the basis for future nursing education program development.
Method : This study is a descriptive research study, and data were collected from April 4 to April 10, 2022 from 214 students from the first to fourth grades of nursing department in Seoul and Gangwon.
Results : As a result of analyzing the meaning of nursing students by applying the content analysis method, a total of 5 areas, 20 categories, and 99 meaningful statements were derived.
Conclusion : The results of this study will be helpful in understanding the degree of awareness of flight nurses perceived by nursing students, and will serve as basic data for developing and expanding nursing students’ training programs for flight nurses and enhancing the effectiveness of education.
